About me

Christine Haines earned her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland. Christine’s areas of expertise involve working with adults (18-80) experiencing a variety of issues such as anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse, trauma, bariatric patients, and others who are attempting to overcome life transitions. Using a variety of therapeutic approaches, Christine believes quality of life transformation occurs when one is focused on the solution and not so much the problem. Christine will teach you a variety of skills from self-awareness to emotional regulation and from distress tolerance to interpersonal effectiveness. With supportive listening, psychoeducation and homework challenges she will inspire you to grow. Christine and her husband, Wesley, have two children and two grandchildren. They reside in Cumberland, MD. They attend and participate at Sharing Life Ministries. Are long standing members of Christian Motorcycle Association. In her recreation time Christine enjoys being outdoors; weather motorcycle, bicycling on the canal, camping near water or kayaking down a river. She also enjoys painting with her grandson, playing her guitar, watching old movies with her husband and learning piano.
