I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999. I’ve worked in many different settings, primarily with individuals but also with family groups. We have worked together on challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, parenting, and more. Challenging experiences offer us an opportunity to grow by increasing our self-awareness. Talking with someone outside of your social circle about things going on in your life can be very beneficial in increasing that self-awareness. It can be a safe space to help you move towards a new goal for yourself.
