Carolyn Taylor (LCSW)

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Masters Certified Addiction Professional licensed in Florida with over 10 years of experience working as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse counselor. Subsequently, I have also been the Manager of several programs providing outpatient and residential treatment settings. I am certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy for trauma along with Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have worked with a wide range of concerns including Substance Abuse/ Misuse, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, family issues, ADHD, Bi-Polar Disorder, Trauma, Physical Trauma, Emotional Trauma and severe and pervasive mental health such as Schizophrenia and personality diagnoses. My counseling style is client-centered, warm, interactive and empathic. I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Individuals are not defined by their circumstances, situations and/ or diagnoses and I believe that health, wellness and recovery are possible. My approach is tailored to the specific needs and goals of my clients. It takes a lot of insight and courage to decide to reach out for help. Change can be overwhelming and terrifying, but you deserve the opportunity to pursue your health and wellness.
