About me

I have almost 30 years working with youth, adult individuals, couples and families. I use DBT and Family Systems skills to facilitate change. I am married with 3 grown children, 9 grandchildren and 2 dogs. I teach Mindfulness concepts and skills and believe that we are each responsible for our own choices about how to deal with our thoughts and feelings in the moment. Life is short and we waste much of our lives worrying about our past or our future and we miss our present. I have learned the value of mindfulness in my own life and struggle to maintain my own focus but know that it is worth the effort.
