About me

I have been counseling adults, teenagers, and families for over 12 years, using a positive strengths-based approach. I specialize in a number of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. I am committed to helping people of all ages with a range of challenges such as relationship problems, self-harm, suicidal ideation, divorce, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, attachment/adjustment difficulties, and general family conflict. My counseling style is generally to show a lot of warmth, compassion, and acceptance, while also challenging you to identify and help change unproductive thinking patterns. People come for help coping with many different stressors and mood issues. It takes a lot of strength and courage to reach out to someone and talk about your feelings. I am hear to listen without judgement, in order to help you understand your past and bring mindfulness into your present and future.
