About me

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad that you’re here. My name is Caitlin Dow, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey with 12 years of professional work experience. I have spent much of my career working with children, youth, young adults, and adults in various levels of care. I started my career working in a residential treatment center before pursuing a change to school-based services. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence, among other challenges that are unique to the individual. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and in meeting you exactly where you are in your life. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. Please know that I acknowledge and respect that building a trusting relationship takes time, but that you are not alone. I am here to support & empower you in this journey, and believe we will make a great team in tackling whatever goals you may have for yourself today and in the future!
