I am a seasoned therapist with over 25 years of experience, that has ranged from helping persons living in the inner-city of Chicago as they learned to recover from an addiction and abuse/ trauma- related experiences, to helping families displaced from Hurricane Katrina, as well as working with men and their families, teaching and coaching the development of improved self-image, interpersonal, and fathering skills to heal and re- build their relationships affected by sexual, emotional, physical abuse, and neglect in their family histories. Of course, over the years I have had many persons with less severe issues and focus on here-and-now concerns that are affecting their quality of life.
