About me

I am a licensed counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. For over 35 years I have worked in a variety of settings including colleges in New York and Pennsylvania, and a psychiatric hospital. I have worked with a wide variety of clients during my career. I work with clients with the following concerns: grief/bereavement, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+, trauma, and relationships. My approach to counseling is helping clients discover their own resilience and grit. My counseling style is interactive. I meet and accept clients where they are and help them move to where they want to be. I focus a lot on self-care and mindfulness. Taking care of yourself first allows you the opportunity to be the best you can be. I look forward to being part of your journey. One of my personal heroes is Eleanor Roosevelt who said “All of life is a constant education”
