About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with 5 years of clinical experience. I have worked with various clients to include: adults, elementary, middle, and high school aged students. I have also worked in several settings/areas of social work such as: private mental health agencies, child protective services, hospital, group homes and public schools. I currently work with Veterans who experience: depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, various medical and psychosocial concerns as well as military sexual trauma. My areas of focus include: depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, medical/terminal illnesses, parenting concerns, anger management, relational issues, career/financial stressors and abuse/neglect/dependency/ foster care. I am very compassionate, energetic, and highly motivated to assist my clients with making positive changes to reach their desired goals. I utilize several therapeutic interventions and therapy modalities, as I understand what works for one individual may not work for the next. I am a strong believer that we all are unique and special in our own ways. We all have strengths and weaknesses that set us apart from others. I utilize therapeutic interventions derived from: cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused and self-centered therapy. My goal is to empower my clients to be successful, achieve their goals, and make progress in their specific area of concern. I am excited and commend you for acknowledging the importance of having support, guidance, and assistance with navigating life. I look forward to developing a therapeutic relationship with you and serving to empower you along this journey. You only get one life to live let’s work together and make it the best!
