About Rocio

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in North Carolina. I have extensive experience in private practice working with a wide range of client issues including life transitions, grief, relationship difficulties, career issues, anxiety, and depression to name a few. I have also worked with people who have experienced abuse and trauma. Prior to acquiring my degree in social work, I worked for many years with the migrant population in North Carolina. My counseling approach is centered around building a respectful and safe therapeutic relationship, while meeting the client where they are in their journey. I strongly believe in treating my clients with compassion and sensitivity. I stay away from using stigmatizing labels. I use a variety of approaches including psychodynamic psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and client centered therapy. I will tailor treatment plans to your unique individual needs. I look forward to meeting you and working with you! Read more Show less
