About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina. In 2018, I obtained my graduate degree at the Joint Master of Social Work Program at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. I have three years of experience in individual and group therapy. Prior to obtaining my graduate degree, I worked in the mental health field for six years. My past work includes supporting people experiencing homelessness, veterans, and volunteering with a suicide prevention and crisis hotline. I have been following my passion for helping others for nearly a decade. I use the evidence-based practices of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to assist people in reaching their therapy goals. My therapeutic style is person-centered, empathetic and non-judgmental. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life. I provide therapeutic relationships that will both facilitate healing and assist you in finding the right tools for empowerment and growth. I have extensive experience in treating clients with depression, anxiety, and social phobia. It takes strength and courage to reach out when we are struggling with mental health issues and I have great respect and compassion for everyone who seeks therapy. I appreciate you taking the time to read my profile. I hope to connect with you soon!
