About me

Welcome! My name is Amanda Kviz, and I would love to walk with you on your self-improvement journey. I have been a therapist for the past seven years, working in community mental health, crisis centers, hospitals, schools and non-profit agencies. I have worked in both rural and inner city settings. My goal is to create a non-judgmental environment, where we can build trust in each other to work towards your goals. I graduated with a psychology degree from Michigan State University, and a masters in social work from Grand Valley State University. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-image issues, PTSD, relationship and family issues, grief, self-esteem, trauma/abuse and addiction. Therapy is a wonderful opportunity to openly discuss and process the issues that are impacting our lives, with an open-minded person who can offer advice, a new perspective, and support. Sometimes facing our past and insecurities can be challenging, but it can be a life changing experience. I look forward to working with you, and helping you to reach your full potential, recognize your inner strength, and empowering you to make positive changes in your life.
