About me

I help people to be free from stress, depression, and anxiety – to live a meaningful and harmonious life. I am Alexander Ladyzhensky a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in holistic integrative practices. In my work, I use psychoanalysis, cognitive/behavioral, and Gestalt therapy as well as a non-dualistic Kabbalah meditation. My education encompasses a wide spectrum of subjects and disciplines, such as physics, philosophy, and psychotherapy, which helps me to see the problem from different points of view that complement each other. I’ve been working as a psychotherapist for more than 18 years, participating in workshops and seminars on the new developments in cognitive/behavioral psychotherapy, and subsequently applied this knowledge in providing mindfulness exercises for patients suffering from past traumatic experiences, depression, and phobias. I believe I’ve been quite successful in combining psychotherapy, with its emphasis on freeing people from conflict and suffering, with a spiritual search for the deeper meaning of life and enlightenment.
