About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with over 24 years of experience providing counseling and support to individuals and families. I have worked with individuals with a wide range of concerns to include depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, parenting problems, and substance abuse. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma through physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. My counseling style is genuine, non-judgmental, and interactive. I believe everyone deserves dignity, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive therapy. I am client-centered which implies that you are the expert of your life. My responsibility is to come alongside you to assist in meeting your therapeutic goals. It’s not easy confronting the things that take away your joy and peace. It definitely takes courage to decide to take control of your life and ensure that you have a more fulfilling and positive experience. I applaud you and your willingness to take the first step towards change. I am here to partner with you and empower you. I look forward to meeting you soon!
