At University-Michigan Hospital, we provide individualized, intensive treatment for children with autism through our STEPS Autism Treatment Program. Our evidence-based methods and theme-based learning, combined with motivating environments, help children develop language, social and cognitive skills while also providing caregivers, educators, and other therapists with the tools to support progress throughout the day. We strive to equip children with the skills to apply their learning in new contexts and promote consistency of care.
