At Oakland University Center for Autism Research, Education and Support (OUCARES), our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) across the lifespan. We take a family-focused approach to empower people with ASD and strive to lead our community in better supporting them to lead independent and fulfilled lives. We offer comprehensive outreach programs, innovative cross-disciplinary research, evidence-based clinical practice and rigorous academic coursework to prepare professionals to work with the ASD population. Our commitment to this important mission makes us a leader in autism research and education.
