Kadlec Medical is a premier, integrated regional health care system with a long history of providing top-quality care. Established in 1944, Kadlec opened its doors initially to care for the Hanford area workforce and their families and has since grown to become one of the largest employers in the Tri-Cities region, providing health care to a half million people in Southeastern Washington and Northeastern Oregon. As a not-for-profit, private corporation managed by local volunteer trustees, Kadlec puts its community’s best interests at the forefront of all decisions. In addition, Kadlec is a member of the Planetree network of hospitals, has maintained an A Grade in hospital safety by The Leapfrog Group since 2013, and is the recipient of the Tri-City Herald’s People’s Choice awards for Best Hospital and Best Company to Work For.
