At EMPOWER Mental Health Clinic, our mission is to enhance the mental health and wellness of children and families in Central Wisconsin. Our clinical team consists of a psychiatrist (on a consultative basis), a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and therapists from various disciplines. Our warm and compassionate staff offers evidence-based assessment and treatment, and is committed to lifelong learning. We believe in collaborative treatment and empower clients to be part of the treatment team. We provide a range of evidence-based therapies such as Theraplay-based family counseling, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Furthermore, our clinicians have been trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children.
