Dawn M Solomon is a highly qualified Occupational Therapist with over two decades of experience in the field. She has a degree from Downstate Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY, and is currently pursuing her Clinical Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Salus University. In addition to her education, Dawn has certifications in Remedial Vision and Rehabilitation, Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing (SIPT), Handwriting Without Tears, Interactive Metronome (IM), the Wilbarger Deep Pressure and Proprioceptive Technique (DPPT), Therapeutic Listening, Astronaut Training, the SOS feeding approach, and CAN-Eat. With her expertise, Dawn founded Shining Stars Therapy in 2009 to provide family- and patient-centered therapy services for children in the community.
