Colonial Intermediate Unit 20

Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 is a Pennsylvania-based organization specializing in providing services to school districts to create cost savings, better efficiencies, and special needs programs. With over 1200 full and part-time staff, they serve 79,000 public school children, 9,000 non-public school children, and 7,000 professional staff in their service region of 1200 square miles. Their mission is to strengthen and supplement local school district programs and services to children and their families, provide leadership without dominance, and be a resourceful community partner supporting student growth through education, social services, and business initiatives. They offer training for teachers aide and substitute teachers in Northampton, Monroe, and Pike Counties, three of the fastest growing counties in the state.
