For more than fifty-five years, Catholic Charities | Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) has been committed to providing compassionate care and advocacy for people with disabilities, their families, and caregivers. Established in 1965 by Bishop James J. Navagh, DPD has served individuals of all faiths and ages throughout the tri-state area. We strive to foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that promotes respect, dignity, and equality. Through our comprehensive services, we strive to empower individuals with disabilities to live their fullest lives and to advocate for the rights of those with disabilities. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to our mission of service and are committed to providing the highest quality of care.
