The North Coast Area Board on Developmental Disabilities strives to provide Californians with the highest quality of care, advocating for the civil, legal, and service rights of individuals with developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to helping ensure the independence, inclusion, productivity, and self-determination of each individual throughout their lifetime. As a federally funded affiliated office of the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities, we are responsible for monitoring the legal, civil, and service rights of persons with developmental disabilities on a regional basis. Our mission is to connect people to needed services and supports, improve services and supports, and help people become part of their communities.
