Avita Community Partners was established to serve people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases in the 13-county area of northeast Georgia. Our mission is to create safe, stable, and meaningful lives for citizens in the region through the provision of comprehensive services and programs that reduce barriers and help individuals, families, and communities achieve their goals. Our vision is one of responsible communities that provide support and services to those in crisis, and individuals who have access to relationships, a home, job, and meaningful interaction with the community. We believe that families, both biological and chosen, should serve as valuable partners who can share knowledge and expertise and participate in planning.
