About Ability1st

At Ability1st, we strive to help people with limited mobility reclaim independence. We partner with local automotive technicians to refurbish used power wheelchairs, then donate them to members of our community who can’t afford them. Our efforts make a tangible difference – nearly 13.7 percent of adults require assistance for mobility, and our recycled wheelchairs can help them get jobs, obtain housing, and lead more independent lives. With Ability1st, you can make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
