About Zara
As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, I specialize in supporting adults and individuals navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and relationship concerns. I am passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen their emotional well-being, and create meaningful change in their lives. I strive to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Whether you are struggling with social anxiety, feelings of isolation, shame, attachment concerns, or questions about identity and purpose, therapy can offer an opportunity for growth, healing, and self-discovery. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Together, we will identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, explore deeper questions of meaning and personal values, and build on your existing strengths to develop practical solutions. My goal is to help clients cultivate greater self-awareness, resilience, confidence, and healthier relationships with themselves and others. My professional experience includes working with adults from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, as well as children and adolescents. I have supported clients facing challenges such as caregiver stress, attachment issues, life-purpose exploration, communication difficulties, significant personal transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and career-related stress. I also enjoy working with men who are navigating career decisions, work-related stress, identity, emotional well-being, and the pressures of balancing personal and professional responsibilities. I also have specialized knowledge of perinatal mental health, including the emotional and psychological challenges that can arise during pregnancy and the postpartum period. I provide compassionate, evidence-based support to clients experiencing postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, identity shifts, and the transition into parenthood. Additionally, my experience working with children and adolescents has focused on helping them build emotional awareness, resilience, healthy coping skills, and confidence as they navigate developmental and life challenges. Seeking therapy is a courageous step. Choosing to ask for support reflects a commitment to your well-being and personal growth. You do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. I look forward to partnering with you as you work toward healing, self-understanding, and a more fulfilling life. Read more Show less
