About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) licensed in North Carolina with over 9 years of experience working as a social worker in a variety of settings including with homeless, at risk youth, child protective services and as a pediatric social worker. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, trauma, grief/loss, substance use, and domestic violence . I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My counseling style is client and goal focused through a variety of styles. I believe in meeting people where they with respect, compassion, and without judgement. I utilize a multitude of approaches but feel that each person deserves an approach that works for them. I will use an approach that is unique to the specific needs of every person i work with. I value your courage in seeking support, guidance, and/or change.
