About me

As an emotional health care provider, I take an integrated care approach when supporting my clients. This approach focuses on whole-person care that ensues the body-mind connection, as well as ensures a trauma informed approach to the client experience. I have been working in the mental health field for over 20 years and have experience in working with depression, anxiety, trauma, life change issues, parenting, transitioned aged youth, ADHD and mood disorders. My clinician skill set includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and Parenting Support. I have a Doctorate in Integrated Behavioral Health. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and serve as a Licensed Supervisor for incoming clinicians. As a clinician, I believe that the client-counselor relationship is collaborative. My clients privilege me into their lives and are the experts of their experiences who come with strengths that we work to enhance and strengthen together. Embodying the body-mind connection of integrated care, we can prevent mental illness through the avenue of emotional health care in the same way we do our physical health.
