About me

I am a licensed supervising clinical counselor in Ohio with over 20 years of experience. For many years, I have worked in hospitals, stabilization units, community mental health, opioid treatment clinics and private practice settings. Along with formal training in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR); trauma focused cognitive behavior therapy (TF-CBT) and other fields my specialty areas include mental health counseling, child abuse treatment/prevention, trauma, race based traumatic stress, counselor development/supervision, self-care, and women’s issues. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, parenting issues, compassion fatigue, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. My counseling style is warm, supportive, validating, and collaborative. You set your pace. I believe in kindness and honesty with compassion, I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach is strength based and client centered. I tailor what I do according to your needs. You are the director of your counseling experience we will collaborate together to individualize your experience and address your needs.
