Dr. Veneisha Johnson

I am Dr. Veneisha Johnson, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a passionate writer-practitioner in mental health who divides my time between clinical practice and research. In my clinical practice, I provide treatments to adult and adolescent clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship problems. I join you to achieve mental health and life goals, including managing stress, repairing fragmented relationships, and trauma wounds. As my client, you will experience a protected and compassionate environment where you can discover and work through emotional and personal issues brought on by life changes, including family and cultural pressures. I work with clients to establish new insights and behavioral patterns required to achieve significant life-changing results. My goal is to empower individuals to create the life they want for themselves. My approach is relational, client-focused, and solution-oriented. I utilized methods focusing on holistic health in a safe, judgment-free, and confidential environment that will help you reclaim your emotional health. I specialize in depression, trauma, anxiety, relationship complexities, sexual abuse, and human trafficking. I work extensively with victims/survivors of abuse.
