About Triana

Hi, I’m Triana Smith, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I believe you don’t have to navigate life’s hardest seasons alone. Therapy can be a place to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what you’ve been experiencing without fear of judgment. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with particular interests in trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, identity, and major life transitions. With 3,500+ direct clinical hours, I’ve had the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and at many different stages of life. I especially enjoy working with people who may feel disconnected from themselves, overwhelmed by life’s demands, or unsure of who they are or what comes next. I also work with individuals and couples navigating communication difficulties, relationship patterns, emotional disconnection, grief, or the impact of past experiences on their current relationships. My background includes trauma-focused work, and I approach each client with curiosity, compassion, and respect for their individual story. I believe that even the parts of ourselves we may feel ashamed of, frustrated by, or wish we could change deserve to be understood rather than judged. For clients who desire it, I also provide Christian, faith-integrated therapy. Faith can be a meaningful source of hope, identity, strength, and healing, and I’m happy to incorporate Christian beliefs, values, and spirituality into therapy when that is important to you. You never have to fit into a particular mold-our work will always be guided by your needs, values, and goals. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can move from simply surviving to truly thriving-developing greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, stronger confidence, and a deeper sense of purpose.
