Hi there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. I am so glad that you have decided to seek out emotional support. It is important to me that you know that this is a safe and confidential space to explore what is distressing you. I’m typically most helpful to others when addressing things like: anxiety, depression, poor communication styles, grief and loss, chronic psychiatric hospitalizations, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, racial discrimination in the workplace, family education of mental health. I have worked with all types of people from all types of backgrounds. I’ve treated mood, substance and personality disorders in a variety of settings. I am ecological (Psychodynamic, CBT, solutions focused, crisis management) in my theory practice, which means I pull from wherever I need to, to meet you where you are, so you can get back on track. I am light-hearted, compassionate and non-judgmental, but I will be direct. You will feel seen and be heard. As your therapist, if you so choose to work with me, you will find early morning appointments. I like to work with clients early in the morning so that you can get your day started having processed your thoughts so that you aren’t carrying around any unnecessary burdens and can then be more productive with clarity and increased focus and awareness. I want to partner with you, help you find the main problems, break them down and see if there are solutions and what to do when there are no solutions. While we are solving those distressing problems, the hope is that our work will expand your capacity to cope and grow.
