Teneya Morman

Greetings, my name is Teneya Morman, I’m glad you stopped by! It takes courage to reach out for help and you’ve completed the first step. I’ll start by sharing a little about myself. I am a 2015 graduate of North Carolina Central University, there I earned two Master’s degrees in clinical mental health and school counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCAS-A), and a K-12 Licensed School Counselor for the state of North Carolina. I have been working in mental health and addiction for six and a half years. I am client-centered, although, I provide necessary and appropriate direction. As a therapist, I provide a safe space for you to take ownership of your story without judgment. I like to refer to our therapeutic space as your “Save Haven”, where you are free to express yourself, find yourself, and work through presenting and suppressed issues. I use a person-centered approach and variety of other treatment modalities such as, integrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, addiction, and self-esteem issues. Stopping by this page self-esteem issues, was one of the best things you’ve done today!
