About Tarin

Thanks for taking the time to read my profile! My name is Tarin Bickford and I've been a clinical social worker for more than two decades. In that time, I've worked with children and adults dealing with a wide-variety of issues such as trauma, addiction, mental health concerns, intimate partner violence, PTSD and child abuse (as well as many other life-altering issues). My approach to therapy is multi-faceted and I incorporate many modalities into my work (although I primarily use cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment and solution-focused therapy). Life can be so challenging and I commend you for taking the first step toward a better future. Engaging in the therapeutic process opens windows and doors you didn't even realize were closed. Together we can work on anything that is troubling you so that you can enjoy life to the fullest. I want to help you become the best version of yourself and will do this by fostering a therapeutic relationship built on mutual respect, trust and an abundance of kindness. You deserve to be safe, happy and well-treated. Let's work together to turn your life into exactly what you want it to be. Read more Show less
