About me

Hello, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of New York. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, relationship and communication issues. I have 10 years experience working in an inpatient psychiatric facility and 5 years of experience working as a Medical Social Worker. I received my Masters Degree from Fordham University in 2008. My treatment approach is centered on a strength based approach, focusing on your strengths, rather than any negative attributes. With this approach, my main focus is to help you work towards a sense of empowerment and growth, ultimately leading you to achieve the goals that are most important to you. I have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and will develop an individualized treatment plan drawing on these proven forms of therapy. I pride myself on providing a safe and positive environment for my clients and look forward to working with you.
