About me

I’ve had the gift of working with individuals facing challenges such as chronic medical illness, caregivers who support those with medical illnesses, people struggling with anxiety and depression and have found a new passion in working with young adult specific issues such as imposter syndrome, low confidence and self esteem. I believe in providing you with the insight and tools to enhance your ability to cope with the roller coaster of life and utilize mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapeutic approaches, and acceptance and commitment therapy approaches to assist my clients in working toward their goals. I offer specific expertise working with individuals coping with chronic medical illness as I I had the opportunity to work in the medical field for over 13 years and understand the unique challenges that come with chronic illness whether it be navigating the medical world, the losses that come with illness, the impact on roles and responsibilities, the impact on financial security and independence. I offer an eclectic approach to working with my clients understanding we all come with our own history, challenges, celebrations, hopes and dreams.
