About Susann

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) to practice in Maryland with 25 years of professional work experience. I am a Veteran and have worked with Veterans, individuals, groups, families, and teens. I also have experience in the legal system as a treatment provider. My expertise is with helping clients cope with addictions and substance use; PTSD, trauma and abuse; stress, anxiety, & depression. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I also like to meet the client where they are at in their life and treatment will be centered on your goals. This can mean still using substances while working on your addiction goals ie: abstinence is not required; or being anxious and needing short therapy sessions to start. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! Read more Show less
