About Steven
Greetings from Steve! I am licensed in California, and have been a therapist for over 30 years. I have experience in helping people with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, coping with grief, & coping with loss and change. I also have experience working with compassion fatigue. I work with individuals to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. I draw upon a variety of approaches to counseling, including trauma-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral, Attachment Therapy and I am an EMDR trained clinician. I have supported individuals from all walks of life, and also provide help to helpers: those who work in the fields of social services, counseling, and first responders. I have provided counseling and psychotherapy to professionals who are experiencing the challenges that result from working in the high stress fields of social work, healthcare, law enforcement and rescue services.
