About me

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Nevada. As of 2023, I am now entering my 46th year of practice. I also served for 16 years on the Nevada State licensing Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists, serving as president for three of those years. The majority of my therapy over the years has been with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress , work and family related issues. I use a variety of approaches in working with my clients. The approach is dictated by their specific needs and the goals they want to achieve. My most often used approaches would be cognitive behavioral therapy and client centered supportive therapy. I enjoy what I do and value each person I work with. My wife and I live in Reno. I have an adult daughter who is a school counselor and a son-in-law who is a school principal. I have two school age grandchildren. Feel free to Google me online and read my reviews. I look forward to possibly working with you!
