About me

Hello. I am an individuals counselor who has been licensed in Michigan with over 7 years experience working as a psychotherapist in a private practice. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, family of origin issues, emergent adult issues and anger management. I also have years of experience and an interest in working with clients substance abuse concerns. My counseling style is client centered and built around the premise that the therapeutic relationship where trust is formed is vital to begin this process. I am of the belief that by meeting the person where they are is essential. Each individual that has come into my office over the years is different with their own unique experience, and I adapt my approach with them accordingly. I combine this humanistic style with some elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy to help my clients find answers to questions they have not been able to find the answers to. Making the decision to start therapy takes courage, and in doing so, you begin the process that can unlock some areas in your life that has kept you stuck and unable to live freely. I would consider it a privilege to walk along side you in this journey and will work with you to support and empower you along the way. I look forward to working with you!
