As a clinical psychologist, I use many tools–including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy–to help you build resilience and discover resources you may not have realized you had or build entirely new ones. I help people overcome problems with imposter syndrome, self-esteem and self doubt, come to peace with difficult memories, manage worry and anxiety, feel empowered to thrive despite health issues, and learn the skills to compensate for concentration issues or ADHD. Sometimes, life also entails hardships without solutions. When that happens, I create an environment of genuineness, empathy, and safety where it may be possible to find peace, transformation, and meaning through acceptance of these challenges. To achieve these ends, our counseling can take many different paths. For some, a careful and thoughtful exploration of the past may bring new clarity to your current life. For others, developing coping strategies may provide the skills necessary to improve functioning and well-being. I have worked and trained in the mental health field for over a decade in a wide variety of settings.
