About Stephanie

Hello and welcome! I’m Stephanie, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and I believe one of the most important things you should know about therapy is this: you are the expert on your life. Maybe you’re the person everyone depends on-the strong one, the caregiver, the problem-solver-and lately, you’re realizing that you’re tired. Maybe anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply the weight of life has become difficult to carry. Or maybe you’re doing “okay,” but you know there are patterns in your life that you’re ready to understand and change. You don’t have to figure it out alone. I bring more than 7 years of experience in counseling, coaching, education, and helping professions to my work with clients. My style is warm, conversational, compassionate, and direct when needed. I want therapy to feel like a safe place where you can take off the mask, tell the truth about what’s really happening, and begin doing the work that creates meaningful change. My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, incorporating CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, attachment-based approaches, mindfulness, emotional regulation skills, and other evidence-based techniques tailored to you. And if faith or spirituality is important to you, there is space for that in therapy too. We can incorporate it into your therapeutic journey in a way that honors your beliefs and preferences. You don’t have to have all the answers before you start. You just have to be willing to begin. Let’s start where you are and work together toward where you want to be. Read more Show less
