About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who has almost 15 years experience in the mental health field. I have worked with clients with a range of concerns including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, personality disorders, relationship issues, substance abuse, work related issues, and parenting problems. A vast majority of my expertise deals with crisis intervention for individuals contemplating suicide/homicide, experiencing psychosis, or experiencing withdrawals from substance abuse. My therapy style is person centered. I believe that the client is the expert on his/her life and respect the pace they want to go. My approach is eclectic and I use a variety of techniques that fit best with the client. These techniques include cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic. Many people ignore their mental health when it is just as important as the physical health. This is the first step to making sure you are holistically healthy and I am here to support that process. I look forward to helping you succeed in your journey!
