About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee with over 20 years of experience in the therapy field. I enjoy working with clients of all ages of 18-35 who need help navigating this obstacle course we call life when it presents with such issues as depression anxiety, anger, behavior problems, grief, stress, relational conflicts, and traumatic events. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Solution-Focused; Strength Based; and Motivational Interviewing to create a special individualize plan to meet the clients’ needs. I believe the first step in the healing process for any issue is to be “heard” and have someone to listen to you. I provide a safe place for individuals to speak and begin the healing process. My goal is to provide a warm nuturing and accepting environment that meets the client where they are at.
