About me

I received my undergraduate degree from Syracuse University in 1998 after completing an internship at Georgetown Law. I worked in federal law enforcement from 1998-2002 while obtaining my MA in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University. Upon completion of my masters degree, I moved to NY and began working at Lewis County Community Mental Health Center running a youth diversion program for teens who were involved in the criminal justice system and had a mental health diagnosis. In 2003, I began working as a full-time therapist and soon after started in private practice working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, domestic violence, substance use disorder, and premarital/marital issues. I have over 16 years in the field of mental health and substance use disorder treatment. I offer a non-judgmental and unbiased perspective, always meeting clients where they are at. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solutions-focused therapy, strength-based therapy, and motivational interviewing skills to offer the most comprehensive therapeutic experience.
