Sharon Ross

I am a therapist with multiple years of experience counseling individual, family and groups. I assist those who has experienced some type of mental health or undesirable issue that interrupts their day to day living or functioning. I have 10 years of experience with group counseling in a correctional setting and 3 years of experience with individual and family therapy. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Minor in Social Work and a Masters in Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who also has worked in Managed Care. My treatment approach is Client Center Therapy which means you, the client, is the driving force. I desire the Client Centered Therapy approach because it allows the client to focus on the direction of their treatment. This is done by me being and Active Listener and being non-judge mental. I have always been interested in working in multiple settings to help those who does not have a voice realize their full potential and realize that their voice is just as powerful or more powerful. I have learned in life that when a person has high self esteem they also possess a light that beams bright. That light combats depression, anxiety, doubt and other negative characteristics that may burden an individual.
