About me

Hi there!   My name is Shannon and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I use a Solution-Focused, client centered approach in supporting and assisting clients in coping through various life events and experiences. Some of these include working with those impacted and affected by: substance use disorders, general mood disorders, and family issues. I am also able to help you to build communication skills, relationship skills, self -esteem, self-confidence. In getting to understand the whole person we can together create a treatment plan to help them lead a productive and fulfilling life. My approach includes utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and strengths based techniques to create a treatment plan with you based off your individual needs and goals.  It takes a lot of courage to take the first step to begin treatment but now that you are here, let’s get to work!
