Hi, my name is Shannon, and I am glad that you have reached out and taken this courageous step in your journey toward wellness. A strong counseling relationship is essential for effective client growth, therefore, I will provide a safe space for you to be seen, heard, and valued as your authentic self. My goal is to help you gain insight and attain your personal goals. To do this, I will integrate multiple modalities and methods to personalize your experience. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Jacksonville, Florida. I received my Master’s Degree at University of North Texas in Dallas, and I am currently working to obtain my Doctorate degree. I have over 13 years of experience working in various settings such as schools, churches, and private practice. I have worked with clients experiencing issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem, relationships, family conflict, loss, and general life challenges. In my personal life I appreciate nature, humor, adventure, being active and having fun!
