About me

Hello! My name is Sha-de’ and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia with years of experience in counseling people from diverse backgrounds. I have experience in individual, family, group, and crisis counseling. I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, family issues, and relationship issues. I am able to listen and effectively communicate with clients to create a safe space to explore whatever may be bothering you. My counseling approach is mainly cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing with elements of person-centered therapy. I am also able to adopt other treatment styles to better fit my client’s needs. I commend you for taking this first step to building on your skills to become the best you possible. Life throws many challenges our way and my goal is help you navigate those challenges and develop skills that will help you in the future. This process is a collaborative effort and will require effort from both of us to be successful. I start by meeting you where you are to help you get to where you want to be. Together, we will work towards solutions that best fit your life. I look forward to taking this journey of self-discovery and growth with you.
