About me

Greetings! My name is Sarah, and I am a North Carolina based Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have a passion for helping people reach their goals and gain greater self-awareness. I have over nine years of experience working in the mental health field and six years of clinical experience. I have worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics, in-home care, and in clinics specializing in sexual assault, interpersonal violence, homelessness, and addictions. I have also had the honor of serving with fellow Soldiers in the US Army as a Behavioral Health Officer. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in treating a multitude of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, marital conflicts, workplace and money difficulties, issues with body image, self-acceptance, and self-esteem. My approach is holistic, warm, and collaborative. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and I am here to work with you to tackle your problems head-on. I realize that there is still a great deal of stigma around mental health and it is my goal to create a space that is nonjudgmental and shame-free so that you may express your thoughts and feelings freely. Good luck in your journey, and I look forward to working with you! Note on my availability – I am currently only available on Sundays.
