About Sarah

I am licensed in Connecticut with about 13 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & career difficulties. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to begin or continue therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! Thank you for inviting me on your journey to feeling better and pursuing life one day at a time. My primary approach to therapy is placing emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. Building rapport through time and trust will determine how effective treatment will be. I like to explore treatment with humor, play, and a thorough family history to assist clients on their journey to reaching their goals. Treatment strategies include grief therapy, role play, cognitive behavioral therapy, stress and crisis management, communication and social skills building, and trauma informed care. I also encourage and welcome clients to incorporate their faith, religion or spirituality into treatment as you see fit. Read more Show less
